These scammers based in the UK get hold of your phone number and info from phishing groups over in the Far East. If you ask them where they got your details, they just give you an 0203 number to ring. Calling that number won't help, it just means you’ll get bombarded by calls from a related company. Honestly, the people making these calls should feel proper embarrassed. Best thing is to ignore them and block the number straight away.

Got a call from 01633712720 claiming to be UK Lifestyle, yeah right. Told them to find a real job! When will the official regulators actually do something about these scam calls and prove they're worth the funding from the government? Anyone else would’ve been fired ages ago. These annoying calls have been going on forever. I’m on the Telephone Preference Service, so how on earth are they getting hold of our numbers?

01633712720 A guy called claiming to be Chris, ringing about funeral arrangements and said I’d shown interest after filling out some phone survey - which I definitely never did. I told him I hadn’t and mentioned all the random calls I keep getting. He said he’d take me off his calling list. Guess we’ll see if that actually happens. The past couple of days I’ve had a non stop stream of scam calls, it feels like scammer week or something.

Got a call from some place called "We Plan Lifestyle". This guy was really pushy, kept trying to get me to buy funeral insurance, and when I said no, he switched to life insurance! After a bit, he just hung up. Feels like a scam to me.

The guy on the phone was really pushy and kept interrupting when I tried to talk. He said he’d ring me back in three weeks. After seeing what others said on this site, I decided to block the number straight away.

First call was about PPI, and I thought, might as well see what they say. Then the next time they called, it was all about life insurance, asking if I wanted to get one. If you're really keen on getting help with PPI, go ahead, but don’t be shocked if they start pushing other things on you too. Honestly, I just wanted a cheque in the mail or a polite no luck message by the end of it all.

Some bloke (didn’t quite catch his name) called claiming he was from 'we fight any crime' or something like that. Wanted to speak to my manager and said he’d ring back at 4pm. Honestly, I’m gonna pass on that one, feels like one of those PPI scams.

Asked him to identify himself and he said something about We Fight Any Claim, so I let him have it about those scamming muppets ringing about PPI, pretending to know my credit affairs better than me. Just after some easy cash, they are. Told him to wipe my details under GDPR, though I doubt they care one bit.
