I got a call from someone claiming to be from my life insurance firm. They started asking for loads of my personal info. When I asked why they needed all that, especially since I’ve been with them for 40 years and never had to share such details, they got rude quickly. Then they tried to get my bank info, and once I said no, they started swearing at me and slammed the phone down. Definitely a scam!

Some woman called saying she was with We Fight Any Claim.com, but her accent didn’t sound local at all. When I asked her to just post the cheque since she already had my address, she got all dodgy and kept pushing for more info, which I refused to give. I told her to email me instead. Let’s see what happens next!

Someone said they were calling from WFAC and wanted me to verify my info. I told them I wouldn’t share any personal info on the phone and that if they needed to contact me, they could send a letter or an email instead. The person kept pushing and wouldn’t provide anything in writing, kept accusing me of not paying attention and claimed they were just trying to help. I told them I didn’t want or need help, especially not from a cold call. The caller was really pushy, so I just hung up.

Received a call about tax on some PPI compensation from around 4 or 5 years ago. The lady spoke quite fast and even mentioned the exact amount I supposedly got paid. I replied saying I wasn’t interested, but both my emails bounced back. This morning, the same number tried ringing me again, but I didn’t answer because I was already on another call. It could be genuine with the caller possibly working remotely, but these days I’m really wary of scams.
