I recently got a call from some random company offering third-party phone upgrades. Didn’t really trust them at first, seemed a bit dodgy. Just a heads up if anyone else gets called about stuff like that - be careful!

Got a call from someone claiming they were with 02, but it didn’t feel right at all. Tried to sound convincing but I could tell it was a scam. Don’t fall for it!

I never got the caller's name. They seemed to know when my iPhone contract was ending. They tried to set up a new phone using some bank info I gave, but it was from an account with hardly any funds. The next day, they rang again saying they had to do a security check to confirm I was who I said I was. They asked if I had an overdraft, I told them to stay out of my business. Then they asked if I had a credit card, I said no, and they told me my order got declined. Would definitely steer well clear of them.

Got a call from some mobile network calling themselves EE, then switched to O2 the next day. They were really cheeky and not polite at all when I asked them to take me off their list.

This number persistently rings my phone but never bothers to leave a voicemail. Quite annoying, really!

Got a call from a landline claiming it was about a possible upgrade for O2 or EE users linked to the number they called. They asked for my mobile before sharing any info, which felt a bit off. Since my contract’s actually finishing soon, I’m guessing I’ll be getting plenty more calls like this.

Got a call saying I supposedly had a mobile contract with them and they asked if I wanted to renew it. I told them to remove me from their records because I never had any contract. Have since blocked their number.
