In the end, they did provide me with my 'Donor ID', which confirmed their authenticity when I inquired about my last blood donation. Nevertheless, I’ve filed a formal complaint expressing that the NHS’s phone manner is alarmingly similar to that of scammers and phishers who are out to snatch your identity away.
