I dont understand why Ofcom dont deal with these calls. These offshore call centres use UK numbers to ring, so why isnt 0163259876 shut down already? I must admit, against my instincts, I picked up this call today. An overseas gentleman, possibly of Indian descent, launched into a barrage of questions at an alarming pace, rendering his words nearly inaudible. I had to cut him off, explaining that I was struggling to comprehend what he was saying. To my dismay, he responded by questioning my decision to pick up, insinuating that perhaps I was simply too old and foolish. At 60 and running a home care service, it appalls me to think that such individuals are harassing our most vulnerable, elderly population and dishing out such vitriol. It’s absolutely disgraceful. This number, along with any associated with it, must be put to a halt immediately!

For a few days, my phone kept buzzing with missed calls from the same number multiple times a day. I usually ignore calls from numbers I don’t know, but out of frustration I picked up once. A man with an Indian/Asian accent calling himself ‘Nick’ was asking for my wife. When I asked how he found my number, which isn’t listed anywhere, he just ended the call. I keep receiving calls from this number, repeatedly asking for my mum. When I inform them that she’s not available, they just hang up, which I find quite rude. Earlier today, I asked the caller to cease their incessant ringing and ended the conversation. Not long after, they called back, and we ended up having this exchange:
