I dont understand why Ofcom dont deal with these calls. These offshore call centres use UK numbers to ring, so why isnt 0163259876 shut down already? Ive had loads of calls from that number but have never managed to speak to anyone. Now i just block any unknown number. If its really important, they can always leave a message anyway!

I get calls from them almost daily. The voices seem Indian, and the people use names like Nick and Wayne (though Wayne sounds more like "Vayne"). It usually takes a few seconds before they pick up. They say they're ringing from something like C+C? It’s supposed to be some sort of market research, but honestly I can't quite catch the other part of the company name.

I wasn’t going to pick up this call, but I did anyway. The person on the other end, sounding like he might be from India, was talking super fast and mumbling. I told him I couldn’t understand what he was saying and cut him off. Then he started asking why I even bothered answering, and called me old and daft. I’m 60 and work in home care, so it really upset me. It’s awful to think someone might be calling elderly, vulnerable folks and treating them like that. Whoever owns this number and any related ones should have them blocked immediately.

This number keeps ringing my home repeatedly asking for my mum, and the moment I say she's not in, they just hang up. I think it’s really disrespectful. Earlier today, I told the caller to stop phoning and ended the call. No sooner had I done that, he called back right away and this is how it went:
