I got a call from 01626821472 claiming to be from Virgin Media, saying there was an issue with my broadband. He asked for my phone number, but this is the third time this week I’ve been called about my internet from different numbers. When I asked where he was calling from, he just ended the call straight away!

Some bloke from India called saying he was with Sky and wanted to check my internet. He then told me to put some random letters into the Google Play Store, which I guessed straight away was to take control of my phone. I told him no chance, and he got all narky, asking how he’s supposed to test my broadband without getting in. Then he just slammed the phone down.
