I picked up the phone, but there was complete quiet for a few seconds, so I ended the call and have now added the number to my block list.

I've received three calls from this number over the past three weeks. Each time I pick up, it's utterly silent at first, and then there's this odd ringing sound that seems to come from nowhere, before it just cuts back to silence again. I've decided to block the number now. It's become quite the nuisance!

I couldn't pick up the phone when the call came through, so I dialled the number back, but it just rang endlessly until I decided to hang up. Shortly after, I got a call on my mobile from someone who claimed they'd tried to get in touch with me about a "work-related matter." They sounded a bit annoyed that I had returned their call, especially when they rang me again at 19:50! When I inquired about how they acquired my personal number-since it’s not linked to work-their only explanation was 'from our CRM.' Despite my repeated questioning, they were rather evasive about where they were calling from. In the end, I insisted they take me off their contact list.
