Blimey, how on earth did they manage to obtain my postcode? 😩😩
They rang me up claiming I had life insurance, and I simply replied with a firm ‘no’ before hanging up. What a cheek!

Avoid picking up—it's likely a scammer on the other end!

I received a call where they mentioned my name and a previous address, inquiring about a life insurance premium I supposedly had. I clearly stated I wasn’t interested and that the details they had were outdated. Yet, they continued to push their offer on me several times. Eventually, I had to hang up. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of these calls—it's just not worth the trouble.

I've been receiving calls from this number repeatedly, but since I didn't recognise it, I opted not to pick up.

Absolute con artists! It baffles me why any unfamiliar company would bother addressing me by name during a call. It feels like a blatant violation of my privacy. I really wish the telecom providers would take action to put a stop to these nuisances and hold them accountable. The trade of personal phone numbers should definitely be outlawed!

I couldn’t tell you who it was, as I didn’t pick up since the number wasn’t saved in my contacts.

I received two back-to-back calls from this number. On the second attempt, the caller claimed to be from HMRC, insisting I had an outstanding tax bill of £1,235. They then urged me to make a payment through Google Play. The line cut off, but then, about twenty minutes later, my phone rang again. This time, the story had changed completely; they were now some life insurance outfit, wanting to assist with my claim and offering a so-called payout—conditional on paying a fee, naturally. Really dodgy business if you ask me!

I’ve no idea who this number belongs to, and I’m utterly tired of getting calls from it!

It appears to be a bit of a dodgy scheme related to life insurance.

I’ll let the phone ring away. They didn’t leave a message, so I took a gander here. Ended up blocking the number.

I picked up the phone, but they ended the call abruptly. When I attempted to return the call, since I'm waiting for some important communications from that region, I was met with a robotic voice talking about some sort of search service. Quite frustrating, really!

Returning calls from numbers you don't recognise is rather foolish. It might just be one of those pesky wangiri scams.

This appears to be a con masquerading as a legitimate life insurance provider. Definitely not a trustworthy company!

Promising life insurance? It's surely a con.

I suspect this is a dodgy insurance ploy trying to get people to review their personal policies, all in the name of gathering sensitive information for nefarious purposes. It came out of the blue, and I've found it’s connected to multiple numbers registered with Magrathea Telecommunications Limited. Ofcom really needs to take action against these nuisance calls!

I received a call that I couldn't answer.

I had a call from an individual pretending to be from a life insurance firm. It's clearly a con – best not to engage and simply block the number.

I was a tad cautious as this call appeared to originate from the same locality and had a number that was strikingly similar to a dodgy call I received before, so I chose to ignore it.

They attempted to pitch me a life insurance policy.

I got a rather cheeky message claiming that I had an outstanding debt with HMRC. So, naturally, I inquired about the accepted methods of payment. To my amusement, they said the only ways to settle up were with iTunes gift cards and Google Play gift cards! Can you believe it? Absolutely ridiculous! 😂
