Suspected insurance spam. Number has been blocked.

Received a call the other day from someone claiming to be with compare.com, addressing me as Mrs White. First off, that’s not even my name! Clearly a load of nonsense and definitely not affiliated with compare.com. Marked it as spam and they've been blocked.

I received a call requesting to discuss life insurance matters concerning my late husband.

Inquired whether I had taken out a life insurance policy. I responded in the affirmative and swiftly wrapped up the chat.

Received a handful of missed calls from this number earlier today, and there was no one on the other end each time.

I received a call from this number and it registered as a likely scam, so I've gone ahead and blocked it.

Utterly pointless; just another nuisance call!

I received a call from this number but they didn’t bother to leave a message. I don’t recognise anyone from that part of the country, and by the looks of things, it seems to be a dodgy caller judging by the remarks on this forum.

The call went unanswered, and there was no voicemail left behind. 😊

Properly annoying!

Like many before me, I let the call go unanswered, suspecting it to be yet another nuisance. I’ve now added the number to my block list.

I decided not to pick up the call as my phone flagged it as a potential scam. I've now added it to my blocked numbers.

It's nothing but a nuisance, best to ignore it!

Received a staggering 11 calls in a row with no message left! I’ve finally had enough and decided to put a stop to it by blocking the number.

I received a call that appeared to be spam on my mobile, so I chose not to pick up. I've since blocked the number altogether!

I’m not familiar with anyone from the vicinity, and as a retiree, I tend to shy away from picking up calls from unknown numbers. Besides, they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail, which doesn’t help matters!

Since the caller didn't bother to leave a message, I reckon it's safe to conclude it's likely a dodgy sales pitch or some sort of scam.

I received a call from this number, but I wasn't able to pick up in time. Oddly enough, they didn't leave a voice message. Given that I don't have any acquaintances in or around Macclesfield, I've decided to block the number outright!
