So, I got a call and when I asked what it was regarding, they claimed it was about my life insurance policy, even though I don’t have one. When I pressed for their identity, they went on about being some kind of independent insurance advisors, but it was all a bit confusing. Then they rattled off a bunch of insurance companies’ names. I told them none of those were mine, and when they asked who my insurer is, I asked why I should tell them. That’s when they just ended the call. Felt fishy and didn’t trust it one bit. Probably just trying to gather info or scam.

Got a call from a woman named Bernice claiming to be from the Independent Review Centre. It definitely came from a hectic call centre atmosphere. Didn’t even get a proper chance to give my review before just hanging up and blocking the number.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from some "independent review centre" pushing life insurance. When I asked where they got my number from, they said I'd opted in, which is rubbish because I always make sure to uncheck those boxes. Then I asked for their companies house registration number, and they couldn’t give one before just hanging up on me. Total waste of time.
