I received a rather puzzling call from a chap named Malcolm who claimed he wanted to discuss my life insurance policy. When I prodded him about the name of his company, he dodged the question, which immediately raised a red flag for me. It was clear that he wasn't affiliated with my existing insurance provider. I promptly requested that he erase my number from their database.

I rang my wife's mobile around 17:25 on Wednesday, 29th January, and was met with a message about a car accident. What utter nonsense!
