I’ve already blocked this number, so when it rings, it just goes once and then stops. After that, I get a text saying I missed a call, and the number it shows is 44 161 831 7111. Makes me think they’re using different numbers but sending them through the same system.

Got a call from someone called ‘Declan’ with no proper company name about PPI stuff. I said it was all dealt with ages ago but he kept pushing about another claim, saying banks didn’t pay enough. I told him I wasn’t bothered cause I don’t need any extra cash and hung up. Then I blocked the number.

This is one of those PPI scam calls, they try to pressure you into giving info so just dont pick up and block the number asap. They keep ringing even if you tell them to take you off their list. They never actually say who they’re working for and just try to get your personal stuff. Total scam, just ignore and block it straight away.

Some bloke rang about PPI but refused to say which firm he was with. I just kept him chatting for about 10 minutes acting clueless like "uhhhhhhh". After a while he said I was wasting his time and just put the phone down ??

When I called back, they acted like they were the ones trying to reach me, not the other way round. I looked up the number mid-call to see if it was legit. I told them nicely that I was worried about the call’s authenticity and then just hung up.
