Got a call from a lass with a distinct Mancunian tone. She was rabbiting on about PPI and when I said I wasn’t bothered, she said she had to check if I could claim somethin’. Kept addressing me by my first name, which felt a bit too familiar since she didn’t know me at all. Eventually, I said I was hanging up but she kept going on saying she couldn’t let me off the phone, so I told her to bugger off and then I ended the call.

This is pure blackmail. Got a robocall with a bloke’s voice saying he's from Ofcom, telling me I'd have to accept some compulsory update or they'd cut off my internet. My phone provider doesn’t block these scams at all, and honestly these callers are just scammers pretending to be from Ofcom. Definitely a nasty, dodgy call.
