I usually pretend to be interested just to keep them talking and annoy them a bit, but they quickly caught on to me after about 30 seconds. Even though my number’s on the do not call list, it obviously doesn’t stop these calls.7 yearsGot a call from 01625 42109, some guy with an Indian accent claiming he was from Amazon about my Amazon Prime membership. Thing is, I don't even have Prime. I kept telling him that but he just wouldn't listen. Then, out of nowhere, he started cursing at me and hung up. Total nonsense. This was on 19/12/2019.Amazon7 yearsOn 15/11, I got a call claiming my Amazon Prime was compromised and there was a new account charging £99.99 a month. Since I actually have Prime, I stayed on the line for a bit, though I couldn’t tell if the voice - sounded Indian - was genuine or not. The call came through on my landline and the caller used my full name, which was a bit creepy. Before they could ask for any info, the call suddenly dropped.
