Got a call from this number twice. The first one was a guy claiming to be a solicitor who wanted to talk about my pension and said I was due some kind of compensation. The second call was an automated message telling me I owed tax and if I didn’t ring back, their solicitors would handle it. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

I got a call from someone saying they were from the government, offering to swap out my central heating at no cost. Thing is, I don’t even have central heating, and there’s no gas connection on my road anyway. Definitely dodgy!

Got a random call from "be insured" the other day, completely out of the blue. Sounded like one of those cold calls trying to sell insurance. Quite annoying really.

When I picked up, it was some automated voice saying that no operators were free to talk. If that’s the case, why bother ringing us at home at all? Makes no sense to me.

Received a call from someone claiming they needed to discuss alterations to a life insurance policy in my name. The catch? I don’t even have any such policy! It’s clearly a fraudulent attempt. When I attempted to ask a few questions, they abruptly terminated the call. Just a heads up-despite her seemingly professional manner, it’s a total con. Don’t be misled!
