A man named 'Daniel' claimed he was calling from the co-op and several other funeral companies, trying to get her to hand over her bank details to sort a plan for her mum. I quickly figured she might've stumbled onto some scam website or dodgy call centre, so I told her to hang up before sharing anything. That was a close one!

Had a call from someone pretending to be from financial services, called Daniel or something. They were trying to sell me some dodgy PPI deal. Quite hard to shake off actually - ended up just saying "goodnight" and cutting the call while he was mid-sentence. Typical hassle.
