Got a call from a bloke claiming his name was Michel, said I’d been on their site which I definitely hadn’t. When I asked what firm it was, he said Energy Helpline. He went on about saving me money even though I told him nicely a few times I wasn’t interested. Had to hang up after the third time. Reading other reviews here, it seems they’re well known for being a pain and have even been fined £45,000 by the ICO before for these annoying calls. Seems like Energy Helpline keeps ringing me over and over all day for weeks now. I never pick up and use call screening on my home phone, but they never bother leaving a voicemail. Feels like a proper cold call. Honestly, it’s just so annoying, why can’t they just stop???

I've been getting the same calls over and over again. The last time they rang, I asked how they even got my phone number since we're not listed in any directory. I told them that if they keep calling, I'd think about taking legal action against whoever’s behind this. Hopefully they’ve stopped now, I haven’t had another call yet, so fingers crossed it stays that way.

This number has been ringing me like twice every day all week??? So this arvo, I finally picked up. A bloke answered, said he was calling from some Energy Help Line, asked if he could get my details. First thing he asked was for my first line of address. I told him if he’s from Energy Help Line, he should already have my address. Then I said I’m alright and don’t want any assistance right now. Ended the call there.

These pests keep ringing me from Uswitch, saying they’re some sort of independent utility seller. Even after I blocked their number on my phone, they somehow still manage to get through and ring daily (my phone still shows the incoming call despite the block). I warned them I’d take legal action over harassment, but they won’t stop calling. Honestly, steer clear of Uswitch for calls like this.

No clue how they managed to get hold of our number, but I just let it ring through to voicemail and they ended up hanging up. Funny enough, they're from Maidenhead, the PM's constituency! Isn’t the government meant to be cracking down on these cold callers? We won't be picking up, so they’re just wasting their own time. Bet they spend loads on pointless calls like this.

Got a call from Energy Helpline but they didn’t leave a voicemail. When I rang them back, I got an automated message saying if you want to stop getting calls, you need to ring a different number - 01622 845543 - and leave your details on their voicemail. They claim they'll stop calling after that. Seems pretty fair to me. I've done exactly that and now waiting to see if they actually honour it.
