I was requested to have a chat with whoever manages our BT account, but the truth is, we don't even have one! So, I decided to end the call.

Had three missed calls from this number in quick succession, all within half an hour! I picked up on the second ring, but there was complete silence on the other end. The digits 01622 82808 flashed up on my screen, and intriguing enough, it identified as "Archie Gorse." So, being curious, I did a bit of digging on social media platforms and, lo and behold, someone by that name appears to reside in the Maidstone vicinity. Quite the coincidence, if you ask me!

I received a rather unwanted call about “Entitlements from Open Reach.” They were attempting to entice me with a supposed 30% discount on my phone bills. I ended up having a lengthy conversation with the caller, but frankly, I couldn't be less interested in their offer. Is Open Reach seriously operating as a billing agency for standard landlines now?
