Naturally, the chap had a northern twang; after all, he hails from Lincolnshire. I'm well aware of this, as I was the one who picked up the phone. It’s quite possible for folks residing in the south to have accents that differ from their locality!

I received a call but they didn’t bother to drop a message on my answering machine. When I returned the call, it turned out to be a carpet cleaning service. I promptly ended the call.

Received a call from this local carpet cleaning outfit. It was quite charming, as a father and son team showed up to do the work. They did an outstanding job reviving my carpets to a like-new condition! The gentleman clearly knew his stuff, which made the whole experience even better. I’m absolutely delighted with the service and have already passed on their details to friends!
