A couple of weeks ago, I found myself on the receiving end of some dodgy attempts from these con artists. Just last Friday, I received another cheeky message from the number ‭028 9581 8770‬, which popped up as a Belfast number on my iPhone. Curious about it, I decided to ring back and mentioned the previous scam calls I'd gotten, but they cut me off straight away! Quite the nerve, isn’t it?

Just like those other messages I've received before, this one features a robotic voice pretending to be from HMRC.
