Just got one of those HMRC scams again, these groups from India are so good at freaking you out and pushing you to send money right then and there. Honestly, watch out because these lot can seriously mess you up. Remember, you’re not being arrested or anything like that - it’s all a big con! Don’t fall for it!

Got a call from this number earlier today, it was one of those recorded messages claiming to be from HMRC, saying there’s some kind of fraud linked to my details. They told me to "press 1" to hear more. I just ended the call straight away! If HMRC needed me, they’d send a letter to my home address - no need for these dodgy calls. Honestly, these scammers should find proper, legal work instead of pestering honest folks like me!

Somebody keeps ringing an elderly person, saying they’ll get arrested for fraud and pretending to be from HMRC. I just don’t understand why anyone would do something like this. Please, is there any way to get this stopped?

Couple of weeks ago, I got hit by these scammers. Last Friday, I received a text from this number ‭028 9581 8770‬, which popped up as a Belfast number on my iPhone. When I tried calling it back and mentioned the fraud calls I'd had before, they just cut me off straight away!

Just got one of these calls today! Same as what everyone else mentioned. Some automated voice saying it was HMRC, telling me it was urgent and I couldn't just ignore it. They said if I or my solicitor didn’t get back to them, there’d be legal trouble. The bloke said his name was “Dennis” too. Proper dodgy if you ask me.

I got a call like that earlier today. They left a message telling me or my lawyer to call back straight away or I'd have legal trouble. When I called the number, some Asian bloke answered and said his name was "Foster". I asked a few questions and he got quite nasty, so I told him I'd contact HMRC myself since I knew it was a con. He started yelling, so I just blocked the number. Watch out, this one's dodgy!

I got a call earlier and left a voicemail. When I rang back, this bloke with an Asian accent answered and asked me for a reference number. I told him I didn't have one and said it was his call, so he should already know who I am. But he just kept asking for the reference number again. I told him once more that he called me, so he ought to know who I am, then he just cut the call.

What a load of rubbish! This person reckons I’ve got four court cases for not paying tax. They started shouting at me, calling me a tax cheat or something. When I told them to stop being so rude and asked to speak with the boss, they just cut me off. So many folks will probably fall for this and get scammed, it’s shocking.
