Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent, he somehow knew my name and was talking about life insurance coverage. Definitely felt like a scam, so I’ve blocked the number now.

On Monday 12th December 2022 at around 1.36pm, this number popped up on my phone. I just said "hello" to see who it was. The voice on the other end sounded like it was from abroad, maybe Asian, and he greeted me with my surname, saying "hello Mr XXXXX, how are you?" He then claimed to be calling from something like "UK Insurance." I was polite but firm and told him off before hanging up and blocking the caller straight away.
