An unsolicited phone call, which I received out of the blue.

Received a call from a BT telemarketer.

I received a rather dodgy call from someone who claimed to be from EE, wanting to switch my phone plan over to a business account. They completely butchered my name but surprisingly had my postcode and the name of my company. However, they seemed clueless about my existing contracts and asked me to log into my EE account so they could 'get everything sorted.' I firmly declined and suggested they ring me back at another time, but they were quite insistent about doing it right away. To me, it all felt a bit off, so I've decided not to entertain that call again.

I received a call from someone purporting to be from BT, trying to discuss switching my business account to a cheaper plan. When I suggested they could email me the particulars since they already had my email, he cheekily asked for my address. I found that rather amusing—yeah, very funny!

Received a call from 01622 291297, insisting they were from EE about my mobile contract. I cut the conversation short and hung up.

Received an unsolicited call on my partner's mobile, claiming we weren’t taking full advantage of the deals from our current phone provider. I'm baffled as to how they acquired this information since the account is registered solely in my name. Curious as to where they're sourcing this data from!

Received a call claiming to be from O2, but when I probed further, the caller insisted they were One Com, an approved representative of O2. They were rather insistent and didn’t seem keen on accepting my refusal, and in the end, I had to terminate the call. Classic pushy sales technique, really.
