I got a call from someone claiming to be from the BT tech team. When I asked them to text me a code to my phone, which they said would be in their system, they got really annoyed. They began yelling and then just suddenly hung up on me. Definitely felt like a scam.

Scammers posing as BT tech support phoned me, saying they needed to get into my laptop. I played along and kept them talking to waste their time and hopefully stop them bothering someone else. When I asked for a verification code to be sent to my mobile - which I said they should already have - they got really upset, started yelling, and eventually just ended the call.
