This number has ringed me a couple times now, but my phone just blocks it and keeps a record.

i answered and the guy said his name was albert, he had a bit of an accent and wanted to talk to me by my first name. i didn't bother staying on the phone, just ended the call. seemed dodgy, probably a scam or something.

Got a call from a guy called Paul asking my wife loads about me. He had some sort of foreign accent so she just ended the call. Later, I looked up the number on this site and it was pretty clear he was trying to scam us. Blocked the number straight away. When I did a quick search on the address linked to him, it was a big house in Chelmsford with three cars parked outside. Fingers crossed the scammers get hit with those hefty fines, they can be up to £500k apparently!

They can’t even say my name properly, but they keep ringing me up asking if I’ve got a moment for 3 questions or something like that.

Got a call from some bloke with a foreign accent, said his name was Albert and somehow knew my name too, though i never said anything. He told me he was calling from uk essentials and wanted to ask me three questions. i ended the call pretty quick. it seemed like he was at home or something cos i could hear a woman and a kid in the background. I only picked up as it showed a maldon number on my phone.

got a call from some bloke who kept shuffling papers and claimed he was part of a government-funded scheme for new boilers. he told me if mine was older than 7 years, i might be eligible for a replacement. seemed fishy since the number wasn’t local at all, and i always thought the council handled those things. watch out, it feels dodgy to me.

I keep getting calls from this number, sometimes at the most odd times of the day. I finally picked up and told the guy on the phone that the person they're trying to reach doesn’t live here anymore. He said sorry and assured me they’d remove my number and wouldn’t call me again.

I saw the number but didn't pick up as I didn't know it. Loads of these calls are asking for my mum who passed away in April 2020. They're not interested in sympathy, just trying to get cash. It's so frustrating!
