I've been getting loads of calls about some accident that never happened, which is really weird. On top of that, I got a couple of texts saying they're from EE, with stuff like: "From EE. Your text message has been successfully delivered to 01619745838." Definitely feels dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone who could hardly speak English clearly. I was quick to call it out as a scam, but they insisted it wasn’t, claiming they weren’t after any passwords or PINs. Instead, they said they were ringing about a “small accident” I’d supposedly been involved in, which they actually knew nothing about. Bit odd, right?

I’ve blocked 0161 974 5838 on my home phone, yet they still ring me on my mobile. They keep going on about some crash my car supposedly had in Morrison’s car park back in December 2013, even tho the whole thing was sorted ages ago. The caller sounds Asian and doesn’t speak English very well. It’s really annoying.

This lot seem to prey on people who are either old or going through tough times, like those drowning in debt and needing cash badly. Because they ring so many folks, sooner or later they stumble on someone who’s had a mishap and is already in a weak spot like I mentioned before. Their aim appears to be gathering personal info from you so they can take out payday loans or make fake insurance claims pretending to be you.

Some dodgy caller rang up saying it was about an accident I supposedly had. The voice was hard to understand, sounded like some strong Indian or Pakistani accent. When I asked a few questions, the person got all nasty. These scammer folks should be sent back where they came from!
