Like others have mentioned, I got a call saying I'd been in an accident within the last couple years, which isn't true at all. It was clear to me that it was just a spam call, but they were so persistent it made me worry about older or vunerable folks who might’ve really been in an accident and could get tricked by this.

This number keeps ringing me non-stop, and just like others mentioned, they say they've got some paperwork about my accident. I asked them why they'd have that info when they’re not connected to my insurance or me at all. Then they put you through to another person who insists you’ve got a ‘claim’ and they’re really aggressive about it. When I told them to stop phoning, they actually threatened to call me ‘every bloody day until I sort the claim’! Seriously annoying, these lot should be shut down for good!!

Today I got a call from some Indian bloke who wouldn't stop pestering me about answering these four questions on a r t a or summat. After he went on with about eight questions, I asked if there was more and he got a bit cheeky, so I just ended the call. Then, he kept ringing again, but I ignored every call that came through.

Got a call today on my phone, and the voice sounded Indian. The only thing I caught for sure was my name being said. Today, my phone rang and when I picked up, a man speaking with a strong Indian accent called me by my first name straight away. He started talking about an accident that supposedly happened to me a while back, which I've never had. I asked how he found out that story, and he just suddenly ended the call. I've blocked that number since then.

So today I got a call from some bloke who asked my name and then said, "You've been in a car crash recently, right?" I was like, "Who told you I even own a car? Who said I have a driving licence? And how do you have my number?" Then he just started swearing at me, calling me all sorts of horrible names like a proper nasty c*** and an a**hole! I yelled back, "Who the hell are you?" and he just kept going with the awful insults, laughing down the phone like he thought it was a joke. I’ve just come out of hospital after a serious operation and this was the last thing I needed. It left me shaking all morning, I was that upset.
I honestly don’t understand why these dodgy callers are still allowed to ring people. They should be held accountable, especially this guy who was so rude and threatening. Would be good to get some response about this.

After telling him I don’t own a car or a driver’s licence, and that I never shared my number, he started screaming all sorts of insults at me. He kept shouting “bitch!” over the phone, and in the end, I couldn’t take it and called him a f***ing idiot before hanging up. This kind of behaviour really needs to be stopped. I’ve just had a serious surgery and I don’t need some stranger abusing me on my personal phone. I’ve reported him to my network provider, O2, and now I’m just waiting to see what actions they’ll take.

So, a bloke rang me saying he was told about a crash I supposedly had a couple years back (which is odd coz I never had one). When I asked him to tell me more, he just stayed silent for a bit and then downright cut the call. Proper cheeky if you ask me.

Got a call out the blue, but the line was so choppy I could barely catch what she was trying to say. Something about a small car accident, which was pretty alarming at first, till I remembered no such incident happened. She kept going on about her role when I asked where exactly she’d got my number from. Then she had the cheek to say I wasn’t paying attention! Proper rude! She cut me off before I could ask to be taken off their contact list, which I believe they’re legally meant to comply with. Mentioned she was from some ‘road care’ company or whatever.

Just got a call from a lady named Chelsea. She wanted to speak to me about some accident I supposedly had. Thing is, I haven't been in any accident. I told her she was trying to get me to make a fake claim and that I’d be reporting her to the police. Then she just ended the call.

Got a woman ringing me up asking for someone totally unconnected to me, then she starts quizzing me and requests another person who’s not linked to my number either. When I asked why she was calling my number, the same voice popped up again from a number ending in 1691, and they tried to say it was me who contacted them! I was like, why would I ring a number that pesters me 4 or 5 times daily for no reason? Complete nonsense. Call centres running these kinds of scams should be forced to clean up their act or shut down entirely, and the lot of them should be blacklisted so we know exactly where they are and can deal with them properly one way or another.
