As an HSBC account holder, you can give them a bell and put an end to those incessant calls-at least the marketing ones! They’ve provided us with a FREEPHONE number for complaints: 0800 881155. Apparently, they’re available from 9am till 5pm. Best of luck!

I can confirm that this call was definitely from HSBC. It’s rather unusual for them to contact you from an 0800 number. Normally, they tend to use numbers like 0161, 0151, 0870, or 0845. Don't let yourself be misled!

Hello there! This number gave us a buzz yesterday, but I chose not to respond, as I've been inundated with calls from various unknown numbers lately, including this one. It's worth mentioning that HSBC typically only contacts us from 0800 numbers, so I reckon this 0161 call is likely to be from someone entirely different.

I’ve compiled some HSBC contact numbers for reference: 0800 7838422, 0207 0880003, 01254 844088, 0161 4550064, 0151 4710087, 0870 1609545, 01244 861600, 01226 300009, 0161 9519923, 0161 9519924, and 0161 9510026. Would it be possible for the website administrators to implement a searchable feature by company? It would certainly simplify things for users looking to create a comprehensive directory for their blacklist management. Many thanks!

Absolutely, we received an exact replica of the ring this morning, and we tried to send it back, but it appears they won’t accept it. The number originates from the Manchester area, but we’re completely baffled as to who is behind it. It's possible it could be HSBC, given that we received a call from an 0800 number shortly after this ring came through. Quite a puzzling situation, really!

This particular number has been bothering us nearly every day, yet there's never anyone on the other end. It’s become quite frustrating. Has anyone else had experience with this caller or knows who it might be?

I can say for certain that this was an HSBC number. I've never utilized their services and I have no intention of doing so in the future.

Alright folks, listen up! If you're looking for a solid legal approach, signing up for the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) is the way to go! It’s completely free of charge. Just register your number with them and if anyone tries to call you from those annoying numbers, simply inform them that you're with the TPS. If they persist with their calls, get in touch with the TPS and report the number and the company. They actively pursue these callers, and they’ll be warned to stop, or face a hefty fine of up to £5,000 per call! Believe me, these nuisances will think twice before bothering you again!

I've been experiencing exactly the same problems with HSBC. We decided to shut down our account and file a complaint. We understand that these things can take a while, but it surely shouldn't be this difficult! It's absolutely outrageous.

We’re experiencing the exact same problem with that number! Whenever we try to return the call, it says the call is not allowed. It’s utterly frustrating! If anyone has any information regarding this, we’d appreciate a shout.

Right everyone, if you’re looking for a decent solution, I’d highly recommend signing up to the Telephone Preference Service! It won’t cost you a penny. Just register your number with them, and when you get a call from one of those pesky numbers, let them know you’re on the TPS list. If they persist, get in touch with TPS to report the number and the business. They keep tabs on these nuisances and can issue hefty fines of up to £5,000 for each infraction! That’s a whopping £5k per call! Believe me, these callers will definitely desist from bothering you!
