Got a call about installing a new boiler. They were keen to sell me a replacement and asked loads of questions about my house. Seems like they’re calling all over the country, so they must have access to some big database. I never remember signing up for any surveys or giving permission for my details to be shared. Not sure how they got hold of my number at all. The company says they don’t sell outbound services, but that didn’t ring true, so I ended up Googling “outbound calls dmclub” and found this site http://notes.dmclub.net/1094. Honestly, don’t want to hear any more of their dodgy fibs - just a scam as far as I’m concerned.

Just to clear things up, we’re a small telecoms firm, kinda like a mini BT. The phone number in question is linked to us since we’re the provider, but we don’t offer outbound call services - only inbound.
