About a couple of hours back, I got a ring from this number, but honestly, the caller's voice was so faint I could hardly catch what they were trying to say. I did manage to pick up that they wanted me to verify my name. Normally, I’d reply, and I did this time too, by asking who was speaking and what they wanted. However, the sound was so quiet and it felt a bit dodgy, so I ended up just hanging up, thinking it might be some sort of scam.

I found out about it after complaining to my MP about the awful number of scam calls I kept getting. Honestly, scammers don’t want this info to be common knowledge. If you don’t report these scams, don’t expect them to stop anytime soon.
