I got a call from these folks, not really bothered, but I was polite and ended the chat pretty quick so it didn’t eat into my day. Sure, these calls can be a pain, but the callers are just trying to earn a living, and you never know what their situation is like. Just hanging up feels kinda rude and cold. Don’t you think it’s better to be kind when you can? Everyone’s had tough gigs and struggled for money at some point, haven’t they?

Yet another call centre, this time claiming to be "Found First" in my experience. Oddly, they didn’t fall for my quiet treatment and went straight to calling me by my first name, even mentioning my website. They were trying to pitch some Search Engine Optimisation service, offering a random website for around £400 plus a £99 monthly upkeep fee. I said I’d think about it, but honestly, the only thing I’m thinking of now is writing this review and blocking their number. Weirdly, every call I get from a 0161 number turns out to be junk sales stuff.

I got a call from some place named 'First Found'. They asked for me by my first name, which immediately made me think it was dodgy. They claimed they could improve my company's Google ranking. When I told the woman on the other end that I wasn’t interested, she just kept going and going. I decided to play along and keep her talking for a while. After about ten minutes I got fed up and ended the call, then blocked the number straight away.

11/8/18 Got two calls in a bit over two hours. The first was some weird recorded message full of swearing and talk about a d###s stash, left on my answerphone. The second call just dropped as soon as I answered.

I got a call today saying I need to pay £190 so kids at a school can have our name printed inside a book. I don't remember ever agreeing to that. Honestly, I can't even recall speaking to them about it before. The woman said I mentioned it was quite a bit of money, and that I wanted to help or donate something. She then said she'd pass me onto her boss but I said no and ended the call. Felt a bit odd to me.

I've received a rather intrusive phone call from a firm located in Manchester. They were attempting to persuade me to provide my email address in order to share some tips on optimising my social media presence. What's particularly unnerving is that they addressed me personally and claimed they had conducted some research on my social media habits. Quite unsettling, if you ask me!
