Got a call from an Asian guy pretending to be from some solicitors about a car crash - thing is, I haven’t even been in one. Then he started calling me a “pretty lady” and saying he “wants to f*** me.” Kept ringing me nonstop for about five minutes till I finally blocked him. Pretty sure he found my number from a Gumtree advert I put up.

I received a rather curious phone call from someone inquiring whether I'd been compensated for a previous accident. They seemed rather confused, as they insisted I had neither been in an accident nor held a driving licence. Strangely enough, they probed further, asking if any family members had been in a similar predicament-I assured them there were none. This seemed to be their flimsy excuse for the call. My response was somewhat amused, saying, "Alright then, mate," to which the chap rather abruptly declared, "I'm furious!" and promptly disconnected. Since then, they've attempted to ring me twice without uttering a single word. They’ve tried before, even becoming rather aggressive when I labelled them as charlatans!

Got a call the other day asking if I’d gotten any payout from a recent crash but then they claimed I didn’t even have a driving licence or any accidents. They tried to see if it was related to someone in my family, and when I said no, they said that was the whole reason for their call. I just replied with "okay then, lol" and suddenly the guy said, "I’m calling because I’m mad" and hung up on me. Tried ringing them back a couple of times but there was nothing on the other end. They’ve called before and got proper rude when I told them they were scammers!

This guy from South Asia keeps calling me, telling me he likes me. I told him to buzz off but he just won't stop ringing! It's so annoying.

Got a ring from this number after I put up a car for sale on Gumtree. The person on the phone had a South Asian accent and said they were from MTA Solicitors about a road traffic accident. I reached out to MTA Solicitors myself and they told me they never do cold calls. So if you get a call like this from anyone saying they’re with MTA Solicitors, it’s definitely a scam.
