I got a call from some bloke abroad asking if I’d been in a crash that wasn’t my fault. I was a bit puzzled, said no, then ended the call. Best to just steer clear of this number, seriously.

I’ve forked out more than £80 over the past seven months due to the same dodgy scheme. Despite ringing them up and sending several emails, I’ve received a complete silence from their end.

I’ve just seen on Companies House that the company was dissolved back on 24th January 2017.

Does anyone have any insight on whether that means we're totally out of pocket and won’t see a refund?

Hello there, I’m really curious if anyone out there has actually managed to get a refund from this company! I’ve been nagging my fiancé for ages to reach out to Vodafone because his monthly bill seemed a bit steep, but he kept putting it off, thinking it was just his son exceeding his data cap. It wasn’t until I took the plunge and called Vodafone myself that we discovered this company has been bombarding him with texts since June 2015, racking up around £15 a month on average. I had warned him to ignore the number, suspecting it was merely a dodgy scam trying to verify the number for spamming purposes. We finally got Vodafone to block that number and any other premium texts in January 2017, and they advised us to pursue a refund from Zamano. The kicker? We can’t get through on the 0161 884 1078 number! Has anyone else managed to sort this out? Cheers, Michelle

It's rather baffling, isn't it? How can they impose charges on us without even getting our permission? Surely, mobile network providers must have some part to play in this, otherwise, how could it even happen? I've seen a plethora of complaints from folks, and the general consensus is that no one has the foggiest idea of what services they're supposedly paying for.

I keep receiving calls from this dodgy number, and I'd really like it to cease immediately. It's quite frustrating, to say the least!

Initially, I reached out to my mobile provider, but their reply was utterly dismissive, essentially stating it wasn’t their concern. They seemed all too eager to facilitate these con artists by siphoning money from my account, yet they were unwilling to reimburse me. I pointed out to them that, in essence, they're becoming accessories to this fraudulent activity, which is a criminal offence in its own right, and if necessary, I’d be reporting it with that note in mind. I then contacted Total Solve, and they immediately assured me of a refund. However, since providing them with my PayPal information, I’ve heard nothing further. I’ve just shot off another email and warned them that if I don’t get a response soon, I’ll be taking matters up with the Police and the PSA (Phone-Paid Services Authority).

How is it even lawful for these lot to just blatantly take money off people? It really boggles me that these greedy crooks can carry on with it without any consequences. What’s happening with the so-called officials who are meant to be stopping this rubbish? They ought to be found and shut down properly, but only after they've paid back everyone they cheated.

It's utterly baffling that there's a supposed "legitimacy" in robbing individuals of their hard-earned cash with such audacity. I can’t wrap my head around how these unscrupulous charlatans are permitted to operate without consequence. What on earth are the authorities doing about this blatant misconduct? It’s high time these nefarious characters are located, shut down for good, and made to pay back every last penny they’ve taken from innocent people. It’s just scandalous!

I've been inundated with unsolicited text messages from a company calling themselves Glamourbunnies. The thing is, I never signed up for this awful service. They’ve been siphoning off £3 from my account every week for the past four months without me realising, as I pay my bills via direct debit and didn't scrutinise the amounts due to the consistency. It was only when I spotted an additional £15 charge on my latest bill that I decided to investigate further and saw I had been receiving numerous texts from this 85878 number. I've since sent a text saying STOP, hoping that puts an end to it. I'm also planning to reach out to the company for a refund. I just don’t understand why such disgraceful, money-grabbing individuals exist. It’s as though we don’t toil enough for the little we earn as it is!

I recently began receiving messages from 85878, but I was clever enough not to open them or click on any links. However, I was shocked to find I was being billed £3.00 for each one! I refrained from texting back with 'STOP' since I suspected it was a scam and didn’t want to incur any further charges. I reached out to 3 for help, and they assured me that if I got charged for responding with 'STOP', I would be reimbursed. Fingers crossed that these dodgy messages have finally come to an end!

I’ve noticed a deduction of £33 from my TalkTalk account, and it’s quite concerning. You see, I manage the account for my 97-year-old mum, who relies on it entirely since she’s nearly blind and struggles with mobility. To our dismay, TalkTalk decided to sever our service due to me exceeding our limits, which has left us both in a bit of a bind. Honestly, it’s quite appalling how they’ve handled this situation. Now, I’m left pondering how on earth I can reclaim that money. I’m hesitant to ring that number as I wouldn’t want to divulge any personal details. So, I’m at a loss on how to proceed with the refund process. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve had a right nuisance with a series of four texts from these so-called “glamour hunnies,” and they’re hitting my account for £3 a message! I popped into my local Vodafone shop, and to my surprise, they informed me I had unwittingly signed up for some sort of subscription. After they made a call to the number in question, I found myself in touch with a company called Total Solves, which rang absolutely no bells for me. They asked for a load of my details-sounded a bit dodgy if I’m honest-to sort out the refund. I made it clear to them that my information was obtained under false pretences, and now I’m just waiting to see if I hear back from them.

These scoundrels are nothing short of petty criminals! I never agreed to anything, yet somehow they've managed to swipe over £12.00 from my mobile balance. I reached out to EE to voice my frustration and insisted on getting my money back, which I thankfully did. It's high time we put a stop to these practices. I've been receiving weekly text messages from this number, purportedly linked to total video services. I attempted to send a 'stop' text to 88108, but it appears that it hasn’t gone through. Now, I’m reaching out to my mobile network provider to verify whether any of my credit has been deducted. Surely, something can be done to put a stop to this fraudulent activity! A bit of research online reveals a plethora of complaints about these scammers; the feedback is largely negative, with only a few glowing reviews that seem far too suspicious-likely from the scammers themselves or their associates. Here’s a radical idea: why not report these companies as affiliates of ISIS who fund terrorism? Perhaps that would prompt the authorities to take a closer look and investigate these rogues. It’s concerning to think that there are countless elderly individuals or those who aren’t digitally savvy, completely unaware that they’ve been duped!

Had a gander at my latest bill and was taken aback to find an additional £20 charge. Apparently, I've been signed up for something called Total Solves and Total Bunnies - not a clue what those are! I rang up EE to sort it out, but they told me they can't give me a refund; however, they've managed to block those dodgy services. I've been trying to reach the company for a refund, but so far, no luck. They did give me an email address, [email protected], which is supposedly linked to these services. Today, I got a message from this number saying I’d signed up for the Total Solves video service, which costs £3 a week. I promptly had a look at my O2 account and was shocked to see I’d been charged £3 each week for the past month, and this was the first notification I had regarding it! I’ve got no recollection of signing up for anything like this, so I reached out to O2. They kindly put me in touch with the service in question. O2 advised me to refrain from providing any bank details and recommended that I opt for a refund via cheque, which I’ve been assured should arrive within a fortnight. Not long after, I received another message confirming my unsubscription.

I was really upset to find that one of my kids was receiving messages from this site (glamourhunnies), especially considering the nature of the content. These messages were completely unsolicited, arriving as pay-per-view texts, and I found the whole situation utterly unacceptable. I tried to get clarification from Total Solve about how this even happened but only managed to secure a refund cheque in the end. Feeling rather frustrated with the entire affair, I did some digging to discover who was responsible for hosting the problematic website. I looked up the website’s name along with its IP address and reported it to the abuse team of the hosting provider. Just today, I received word that they've managed to take it offline, but I have a sneaking suspicion it won't be long before it reappears elsewhere!

However, I’m yet to see any sign of that cheque, and to make matters worse, the money continues to be deducted from my account. I’d really appreciate your assistance with this matter.

Received a message from this number on Saturday. It seems I'm not the only one questioning what the mobile networks are doing to clamp down on this sort of scam. It certainly feels like they’re doing next to nothing. It’s only when the problem lands on their doorstep that they might actually take things seriously and implement some real safeguards. I’ll be contacting Total Solve’s video service later to sort this out once and for all. If they, like others have mentioned, brush it off as a simple mistake, I’ll be requesting their address so the authorities can pop round to assist them with their IT troubles. I have a hunch I won’t be getting that information anytime soon.

I've recently realised that my son's mobile has been getting charged £2.50 weekly from a short code, 82999 or 88108. I'm a bit at a loss here-should I send a text to stop it, or is that likely to complicate matters even further? I’m wondering what steps we should really take now. He’s gone ahead and blocked the number, but is that sufficient to put an end to this? Any advice would be appreciated!

I’ve been noticing that this number has been deducting £3 from my account about four times monthly since March. After getting in touch with VIRGIN, they directed me to VEOO/ENTERTAINMENT on 08001577502, who in turn connected me to TOTAL SOLVE LIMITED at 01618841078. I lodged a complaint and was told they’ve now unsubscribed me and will be processing a full refund. If you wish to stop these blokes from draining your funds, just text STOP to 88150, or ring them up like I did to hopefully reclaim your cash. Also, do a search for 700383864 if you're interested!

I’ve fallen victim to these muppets as well. They charged me £3 a week for a total of seven weeks! To my dismay, there wasn’t an option to opt out until just last week. I tried to cancel, but the messages kept coming in, and I was yet again fleeced out of another £3. I’ve given them a ring, insisting they remove me from their list and refund the money. They promised to ring me back today, but I won’t be surprised if that doesn’t happen. They even had the gall to request my email address, but I knew that was just a ploy to bombard me with spam, so I kept that info to myself. I’d never heard of these jokers before, and I certainly didn’t sign up for anything.

I urge you, whatever you do, don't overlook the messages I've sent regarding my experience. I've forked out nearly £90 to these blokes, and I've tried to get in touch with them. They claim that I'll receive my money back via PayPal, but I've refrained from providing any details since I'm wary about being swindled through that method. Let's see how they respond.

I've just received a message from them out of the blue. I certainly haven't consented to any fees, nor have I provided any of my banking information. What on earth is happening?

Received a message regarding a £3 weekly fee. I requested a refund, and the out-of-hours support team logged my complaint. Apparently, I should get a call tomorrow to sort out the refund. Fingers crossed to see how this unfolds!

Last month, they took £10 from my account, and this evening, I just noticed another £2.50 has gone missing. How on earth can I put an end to this?

Received a message stating: "FreeMsg: You have signed up for the Total Solves video service, which incurs a charge of £3 every week until you text STOP to 88150. If you need assistance, call 01618841078. 16 years and older only." Additionally, I received one regarding 'hunnies' from the same number. I haven't subscribed to anything, so I've disregarded it, yet they're still deducting £2.50 from my account.

I've recently received a message saying I'll be billed £3.00 if I don't reply with 'stop'. I've heard it’s best not to respond at all, as these dodgy characters will realise they’ve got hold of an active number. It's absolutely baffling that the authorities or government aren't cracking down on these scammers...why on earth is that? It's so frustrating!

I recently had a chat with these folks regarding some dubious video subscription I supposedly enrolled in. They mentioned sorting out a refund through PayPal, which is a relief. I also plan to report the number since it’s clearly a call centre, what with all the background chatter going on.

Gave this number a ring bright and early at half six this morning, feeling a bit wary about it all. I expected a voicemail or something, but was surprised when someone actually picked up. They collected a bit of info from me and mentioned they’d relay it to their main office. Now it's just a waiting game to see what happens next!

I just got a message saying: "FreeMsg: Your glamour hunnies subscription costing £3.00 a week is shifting from short code 85878 to 88150, and you'll need to text stop to 88150 if you want to cancel. Need assistance? Call 01618841078." The thing is, I’ve never signed up for this service in the first place. What a bizarre situation!

I've received this text about my subscription to glamourhunnies costing me £3 each week, and it seems they've switched the shortcode to 85878. To unsubscribe, it says to send STOP to 85878. If I require assistance, there's a number: 01618841078. Honestly, it baffles me how these crooks are still allowed to operate. There have been numerous complaints, yet it appears no action has been taken. What on earth is going on?

Give this number a bell and let them know you suspect that the money's been siphoned off unlawfully. Request a refund; they should have the precise figure on hand. They'll likely suggest sending a cheque or processing it through PayPal.

I went for PayPal myself, just to avoid disclosing any address details. Furthermore, don't forget to notify 0800 500 212, as they can ensure those pesky numbers are barred from contacting you.

I just had a chat with them, and they assured me that the refund would be processed immediately. It truly astounds me how they manage to pull off these sorts of shenanigans. As noted by others, I reckon the majority of folks wouldn’t bother to pick up the phone and raise the issue. Absolute muppets!

I just received a message claiming I've signed up for a video service at £3 a week! Not a chance in hell! I'm going to ring them up shortly.

I called them up to inquire about a charge that I never authorised, and much like what others have mentioned, a woman on the other end suggested it could have been an error. She noted down my name and address, claiming a refund would be sent via cheque. Sure enough, within a week, I received it, albeit £3 less than expected. But honestly, I couldn't be bothered to quibble over a small amount. They're clearly just trying their luck; I wager most folks will just text ‘stop’ instead of pursuing a refund!

I've encountered the same issue with these folks. I reached out to O2, and they provided me with the contact number for Phone Pay Plus (0800 500 212). They operate similarly to Ofcom but specifically for premium rate numbers. The support I received from them was excellent, and fingers crossed they’ll impose hefty fines on these questionable characters.

I've been getting messages from something called Total Solve, claiming a charge of three pounds a week, and they're advising me to text 'stop'. I’m on a Giff Gaff goodybag, which usually leaves me with a bit of spare credit. However, these messages seem to be eating into that balance, and it turns out the number sending them isn’t included in the goodybag coverage. Since I don’t have any sort of contract that would allow them to bill me, I’m thinking that if I run my credit down to zero, they won’t be able to keep bombarding me with texts, right?

Lately, I've been inundated with texts about services I never signed up for, demanding payment. The latest message reads: "Your subscription to glamourhunnies for £3 weekly is transitioning to shortcode 85878. To cancel, text STOP to 85878. SP: TotalSolve. For assistance, call 01618841078." I’m absolutely furious about this situation and desperate for a foolproof way to shut these scoundrels down for good. They've taken money from me in the past, and I'm extremely vexed! I want my funds returned and these crooks held accountable for their unlawful behaviour.

I keep receiving unsolicited free messages that then hit my pocket with a £3 fee each week. I’ve attempted to opt-out by texting 'stop' to 85878, and they acknowledged my request. Yet, a few weeks down the line, the messages start rolling in again. When I try to check the number, it shows as an error. Quite the nuisance, I must say!

I've just had an unwelcome message pop up on my phone, which read exactly like this: "FreeMsg: You're subscribed to Total Solves video service at £3 per week until you text STOP to 85878. HelpLine € 01618841078 - 16+ ONLY." After a chat with T-Mobile, they advised me to send "STOP ALL" to the number 85878. They informed me that this was linked to a company called "VIP Messages" with a dodgy URL, http://www.vipmsg.mobi/, which, funnily enough, doesn't seem to lead anywhere. They even provided a contact number for this lot-0120 244 3333. Once I'd sent the "STOP ALL", I got a confirmation text confirming I was unsubscribed from everything. According to T-Mobile, I've now blocked these "third party services," just as I asked. Now, I'm just biding my time to see how this affects my next bill. Fingers crossed!
