Got a call from abroad claiming it was a survey, but they already knew my old address and my name. They kept asking about gambling habits, energy suppliers, and internet providers. They did say Scottish Power at one point, so I'm thinking it might be them since they’ve been calling me loads lately. Not sure if it’s a proper survey or just a scam, but it’s frustrating when most calls are rubbish. My phone doesn’t allow me to block numbers, so I give certain calls a unique ringtone and usually ignore them. At least that way I don’t get bothered as much.

As soon as I picked up and said hi, they just dropped the call straight away. Pretty clear it's some sort of scam, like most of those 0161 numbers. I usually just ignore calls from those numbers anyway.

I used one of those insurance quote websites and now I’m getting nonstop calls from this number and loads of others too. Honestly, steer clear of those comparison sites or just chuck in a fake number. They always want your phone just to give a quote, so you might as well put any old digits in!
