I got a call from some people called IMS about a car crash. Since my mobile number's on the Telephone Preference Service list, I reported them straight away. The TPS passes complaints to the Information Commissioner’s Office, and if enough folks report, they might get fined. Problem is, if no one complains, the TPS won’t know anything’s wrong. So, make sure you tell your mates and family to sign up for the TPS too.

I got a call saying I’d been in a car crash! When I asked who they were and for some info, they just cut me off straight away. I’ve blocked the number now.

Some bloke called saying he had a file about an accident I supposedly had. I asked when it supposedly happened, but he couldn’t give me a date. Thing is, I’ve never been in any accident. He was quite rude and just ended the call on me.

There were loads of muffled sounds in the background like a busy call centre. When I asked who was calling, the bloke just kept saying he was with "AMS". I kept pushing him to say what AMS stood for. After a bit, he claimed it was "Accident Management Services". I made sure to say firmly and loud "Right, thanks, GOODBYE" and he just hung up straight away without saying anything else.
