Today I got a call from 01618832307, some bloke with an Asian accent who called himself Daniel Carter. He was saying I’d apparently won something in this Euromillions competition, but I’m not sure what exactly since I couldn’t quite catch it. Told him I never entered any contests and asked where on earth he got my number from, telling him to take me off their list. He then said he had my info and wanted me to confirm it. When I asked him to tell me what details he had, he got all unsure and then just hung up. Totally agree with Rommie - this sounds really dodgy. Euromillions lottery? Caller calling himself Daniel Carter? Nah, something’s not right here.

This number has been ringing me daily for about two weeks. When I picked up, they asked if they were speaking to me and claimed I qualified for a free boiler replacement. Once I mentioned that I rent my flat, they switched the story and asked if I’d been in any accidents over the last three years. That’s when I ended the call and blocked them. They’re clearly just telemarketers fishing for info to scam people, so best to just hang up and block straight away.

Got a call from this number saying they were from some offers company linked to the EuroMillions.
