I received a phone call from a chap who claimed he was reviewing my washing machine insurance. Curiously, he then started probing about my fridge freezer. He went on about potential savings on my existing Direct Debit payments! However, it was odd that he didn’t have my house number or even the brand of my fridge freezer! Eventually, he requested payment via my husband's Credit Card. At that point, I had a strong feeling this was a dodgy call and refused to share any card information! I truly wish there was a way to put a stop to these deceitful callers. Even at 75, I keep my wits about me regarding these things. Cheers for listening!
