This number has tried calling me loads of times. I've missed nearly all but finally picked up the last one. Some folks mention it's about funeral plans. I did once fill out a form for affordable funeral services, so it might be connected. When I answered, tho, the line just went silent. Feels like they want me to call back and get hit with a massive fee or summat. No way mate, blocked them straight away.

Avalon Funerals somehow got hold of my number and trust me, it’s a nightmare. If you don’t actually pick up and tell them straight up you’re not interested and want your number off their list, they just keep ringing nonstop, like all day long. Blocking them doesn’t help either, because they end up phoning from 0800 0882305 instead. It’s bonkers that they think pestering people like this makes any sense for their business.

I got a call a few days ago from this number, 01618541274. The person on the line spoke in a language I couldn’t understand and then just ended the call, which was a bit creepy. So when it rang again today from a Manchester number, I didn’t even bother answering and just blocked it. Real companies usually say something like 'Mr so-and-so from YYY Ltd', not just their name alone - how am I supposed to recognise them if I’ve never heard of their business?
