Got a call from this number but didn't pick up, they hung up before the voicemail even started. Pretty sure it's just another pesky scammer. I've blocked the number now, but I bet they'll come back using a different one. Honestly, this site is brilliant for checking if a number is dodgy. Scam calls have gotten so out of hand that these days, I only bother to answer if I actually know who's calling.

Got a call from a place called Avalon pushing prepaid funeral plans. They wouldn't accept a simple ‘no thanks’ and kept claiming someone had asked for the call through some online advert. No idea who these lot are or how they managed to get my phone number. I think 0161 is the Manchester area code, right? It's mad how you get bothered by calls like this all the time. There really should be some proper rules to stop this constant pestering. Loads of scam calls nowadays where if you call back, they put you through to some expensive premium line. Those numbers, 0161 854 1273, 1274, and 1275, keep ringing non-stop every day but with different ones each time. It’s such a pain, feels like harassment honestly. I believe this is a funeral service called Avalon or something similar. I got in touch with them to ask about costs and such, and they promised to send me details via email and follow up with a call within a week.
