I got calls from a man with an Indian accent asking for my NI number. He left a few messages on my voicemail saying his company was going to sue me. When I finally answered and asked for more details, he just ended the call straight away. Then, when I called back and suggested it might be a scam, he hung up again and wouldn’t pick up any more of my calls. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

It’s just ridiculous when scammers set up a voicemail and fork out cash for some call centre pretending to be HMRC. They could at least get someone who sounds like a proper English bloke, like a "John Williams" or something. Absolute muppets. I feel bad because most Indians work really hard, and these con artists are making the community look bad. Proper shameful behaviour.
