Just like others have mentioned, this number has been ringing my unlisted mobile every single day at exactly 16:14 for over a month now. I reckon it’s probably the same caller hassling my ex-directory landline too, ’cause every time I try to call back, it just won’t connect. Even using the last number redial doesn’t work. Lately, I’ve noticed they’re using some sort of call jamming or forwarding gadget that means the calls don’t even show up on my phone’s call log, even though I pick up! It’s mad how these annoying scammers used to be stopped under telecom rules, but now it feels like BT don’t want to do anything, probably ’cause they’re involved in dodgy stuff themselves. Proper frustrating :-(

Received a call from someone claiming to be from Pension Careline, saying my pension was frozen. I told her it wasn't, but she kept insisting otherwise. I had to tell her again to pay attention to what I was saying. She hesitated for a second, then started up again. She sounded Indian, kinda like the BT Mumbai support I’ve dealt with before - I say that because she just ignored what I said. Not being racist, just describing the experience. I told her it was a business phone and to remove my number from their list. After a pause, she finally said goodbye. Give the ‘business line’ approach a go - it’s worked better for me than signing up with the TPS.
