A woman with a friendly tone called saying she's with Freedom Lifestyle, asking about any aches or pains I might have. I told her nicely that I wasn't sure who she was and that I was going to end the call. She was quite courteous about it all.

Today, on the 19th of November 2018, I got no fewer than four calls from the number 01618505974. Each time, the caller claimed to be representing HMRC, alleging some sort of legal action against me. They prompted me to press 1 to return the call, but I quickly figured out it was a dodgy scam and chose not to engage with them.

I received a rather peculiar phone call today, a recorded voice insisted it was HMRC and they urgently required a word with me - they prompted me to press one for assistance. I posted earlier about these scammers pretending to be HMRC ringing me this morning, and guess what? They called again this afternoon from some weird international number that didn’t show up. The same ‘lady’ (if you can even call her that) with a terrible fake accent and an annoyingly deep voice started with the same nonsense threats. Blocking the number didn’t help at all, and just hanging up didn’t stop it either - the phone kept ringing on and on until I finally gave in and picked up because I wanted my line free again. Anyone got any advice on what else I can do?
