Got a couple of calls from 01618507273 yesterday. The voice was really muffled, but I caught something about 'your case officer.' Definitely sounds like a scam to me. Best just to hang up and not bother with it.

just like others have mentioned, I got a recorded voice from someone in the US asking me to ring back. Seems really dodgy and like a scam to me.

On 18/07/18 at about 11:12am I got a call from 01618507273 saying HMRC will be taking action against us. Totally a scam! Please don’t get tricked into giving your bank info. There’s loads of stuff about this online warning people.

got a weird automated call that seemed to warn me about an hmrc probe or something. i called back, but it just led me to a voicemail with a strangely american voice asking me to drop my name and number. needless to say, i just hung up and forgot about it!

Got a robo call saying it was from hmrc and telling me to press 1 to talk to my case officer. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it. The dodgy lot keep switching up their caller ID to trick people, so watch out!

Got a call today from a different number but with the same scam claiming to be from HMRC asking for money. Funny thing is, I had the exact same call yesterday from 0161 850 6324. I checked and loads of people have been hit by this trick. Seems they’re switching numbers now, so watch out! This number’s definitely dodgy.
