Saw an ad on Facebook about a free four week course from Shaw Academy online. When they asked for my card info, I decided no thanks and backed off. Later I looked them up and found out they’re actually based out of Ireland, but lots of other websites said they’ve been losing their accreditation. Seems like a lot of people have now blocked them and labelled them as scammy. Wouldn’t trust them at all.

Every scam call or text is basically a stealing attempt and should be reported straight away to the cops. It’s simple and fast to do and you don’t have to sign up for anything. Just search for 'action fraud', pick the website that ends with 'police.uk', then hit the 'reporting' tab. From there, go into the phishing scam section and keep scrolling past the email stuff until you find the form to report the number and scam. There’s said to be hundreds of thousands of these scams all over the UK daily, but hardly anyone actually tells the police. That’s where the trouble lies.
