Heard them mention something about a case against me, so I quickly deleted the voicemail. Honestly, they oughta be shut down, but as long as phone companies keep cashing in on these calls, I doubt anything will change.

So I got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC and that I was about to be sued. That sounded off right away - why would a government office go straight to suing over the phone? Anyway, I just told them to stop and hung up. It was obviously a scam trying to scare me.

Got a call from 01618506644, it was one of those recorded messages claiming to be HMRC and warning about legal action, asking me to press 1. It didn’t even say who the message was meant for. I’m gonna report it to the Fraud Dept because this sort of thing has to be stopped - it’s really upsetting and could cause serious money problems for people who’re more at risk.

It's shocking that these kinds of calls are still going on - they’re vile and I reckon they might even be against the law. I jotted down the number and reported it straight away because it’s clearly a scam. It’s pretty frightening for anyone who might not know these sorts of calls are just nasty scams.
