Got a call from a Manchester number. The bloke on the other end, who didn’t sound like he was from around here, said he was from CCB and wanted to help me get back some money from supposed billing mistakes. Total rubbish. Just blocked and forgot about it.

Got a call on my home phone - no idea where they found the number as I’ve never shared it with anyone. They kept pushing with questions about bank details and mortgages. Claimed it was about claiming back PPI but wanted loads of personal info. Said they were from CCB - consumer compensation bureau - but when I looked them up, they seemed a bit shady. Caller said it’s non-profit but how do they even earn money then? Definitely not picking up next time!
