I answered the phone pretty much straight away, like two rings max, and the call just cut off. Tried to ring back but all I got was some automated “application error” thing. Total waste of time.

Ringing back numbers you don’t recognise is just daft. It might be one of those wangiri scams or someone’s actual phone number that’s been faked. You might end up showing a scammer you’re an easy target. Best thing is to report any dodgy calls to the police. There’s info about how to do this below. My MP told me to make sure I did that when I raised the issue with them.

I had no clue what the bloke was on about, maybe he mentioned something like Insight IT? This was the third time in just two days they'd phoned me. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I noticed I'd received several missed calls from this number prior to finally picking up. When I did, a chap with an Indian accent was on the line. I ended the call pretty quickly as his command of English was quite poor.

Got a call from a woman with an Irish accent saying she was from Insight IT. She asked about my job title and email, then suddenly said I’d given permission to share my info under GDPR rules. Before I could say anything, she ended the call. Also, the number won’t let you ring back.

Someone said they were from SAGE, but when I asked for proof, they just ended the call.

Got a call from an Irish lady saying she was with the IT department, pretending to be Google. It was super weird since I checked the call history and that number has called me more than 100 times! Honestly, it's like they're just pestering a company nonstop. I've blocked them now - they really need to find a real job instead of all this nonsense.

Got calls from this number like twice in a couple of days. When I called back, some robotic voice just said "n" then ended the call. So, I blocked it. Been gettin' these along with some other number from London, they keep switchin' between them spamming me.
