On 12th Dec 2017, I had a proper chat with HMRC from my own landline around midday. Then, at 3:33pm, a dodgy HMRC call came through to the same phone. Bit suspicious if you ask me. The legit HMRC number given was 0300 200 3500, but I’m staying clear of that one now.

On 12th November 2017 I got a call from some automated voice saying it was ‘hmrc’ and that they were gonna sue me. They said to hit 1 if I wanted to talk to someone.
