I told them they must have the wrong number as the person they wanted wasn’t me. Still, the caller kept going on about life insurance. I mentioned I’m on the TPS list and asked for the company name and how they were allowed to use my info for marketing. Right after that, she just ended the call.

Got a call while I was at work from a bloke. I told him I was busy and didn’t have much time, and he said he was at work too! We set up a time for another call but I blocked the number. They were pretty pushy and rude, felt like harassment or possibly a scam.

She claimed she was ringing about a life insurance plan, something to do with Legal & General... or maybe another company, she wasn’t too sure. She asked me what firm my policy was with. When I asked why she was contacting me, she got quite defensive and suggested I was trying to trap her or something. Then, without another word, she just ended the call.

They rang back almost immediately but I refused to answer. What really threw me was that they already knew my name! Definitely seems like a spam number to me.
