I answered the phone to a chap claiming he was from nPower, saying he was just about to renew my energy contract due to my failure to reply to some imaginary letter they supposedly sent me. He was after my bank details, which I firmly refused to provide. He pushed for my consent to switch to this new contract, but I wasn’t having any of it. He went so far as to say he was an authorised representative of nPower’s billing team-completely untrue! Just an utter waste of my time, honestly.nPower9 yearsI received yet another one of those atrocious cold calls from what can only be described as a dodgy scamming outfit, clearly relying on ancient and compromised data. A rather uncouth chap from the North, who simply wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise, insisted he was here to renew my energy contract with Eon. When I inquired about the source of this outrageous claim, it was evident he was living in the past-I'm not keen on engaging with Eon again, not now, nor in another eight lifetimes! His behaviour was decidedly unimpressive, and after a rather colourful exchange, I suggested he might do well to take a long hard look at himself and reconsider his approach to life.NorthEon9 yearsThis dodgy cold caller was clearly using old stolen data. Some posh Northerner kept talking over me, claiming he was sorting out my energy deal with Eon. I asked him where he dreamed that up, cos he’s about eight years behind the times - plus, I’d rather freeze in the dark than sign up with Eon again ever.
