I received a call from someone claiming to be with the O2 Network, who said he was "following up on a complaint." His accent was heavily Asian, and honestly, he gave off serious scammer vibes to me.

The accent was really hard to catch, so I had to ask the person on the phone a couple of times to say where they were ringing from. Each time, they just sped up and gave a quick answer like they didn’t want to explain. I ended up hanging up and thankfully, they never rang again.

They claimed they could help lower my phone bill. When they asked for the amount I was paying, I told them I wasn’t sure because my direct debit pays it automatically. They pressed again for a figure. I replied by asking how they could promise savings if they didn’t even know my current plan. And then, without warning, the call just dropped.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from O2 about a complaint I'd made. The bloke had such a thick Asian accent it was really hard to catch what he was saying. He mentioned something that sounded like "auto network," so I asked him to spell it out for me. As soon as I did, he just hung up on me.
